There is a variable tension rubberized control knob with a removable baby 5/8?(16mm) pin mounted in a female baby receiver in the handle and another 5/8?(16mm) pin mounted on the flat part of the jaw. The clamp works on diameters from 0.63-2.36?(16-60mm).

The Adjustable Gaffer Grip from Kupo is a quick-mount, multi-purpose steel clamp that will grab on most surfaces flat or round. The clamp has one fixed baby 5/8-inch stud and one reversible baby 5/8-inch stud with both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on either side. The reversible stud is mounted in a baby 5/8" (16 mm) receiver. The jaws can be adjusted from 0.98 to 2.56" (25 - 65 mm) and have a stealthy black finish.
